The winds can be cool off the Cape of Good Hope before reaching Cape Town, or overnight while sailing around the Galapagos Islands (there are penguins there due to the cold Humboldt Current!) before we make the balmy tradewind passage to Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific, or on a North Atlantic passage homeward bound to Lunenburg.
